Is Rock City worth the money?
After visiting Rock City several times with my family over the years, I can tell you with certainty that the ticket price is worth it, no matter the season. Located atop Lookout Mountain just outside of Chattanooga, I’m convinced Rock City is one of the most beautiful and picture-worthy places in the US.
Can you really see 7 states from Rock City?
From the famed “Rock City Point,” you can see a whopping seven states: Tennessee, Virginia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia, Kentucky and Alabama. There are all sorts of neat ways to experience Lookout Mountain. Rock City is on the Georgia side of the mountain, closer to Ruby Falls, and is well worth the trip.
